{BLOG TOUR: A PIRATE PRINCESS} by BRITTANY JO JAMES + GIVEAWAY

Synopsis: The only thing a pirate desires more than his ship is his treasure and the crew of The Beloved Loss holds the most valuable jewel on the sea… their pirate princess.
Enchanting and spirited Corisanda St. Aubin has been a prisoner aboard The Beloved Loss since she was born. Cori’s dream of escape has been crushed countless times by her father, the heartless Captain Marin St. Aubin. She’s accustomed to her father’s hatred but nothing can prepare Cori for the malicious quartermaster, Falco de Vries, who schemes to marry her.
The Count of Calais and sea trader, Burke Belcourt, has been trapped by a malevolent woman’s demand for marriage. In an attempt to prolong his wedding, Burke agrees to bring the unlawful pirate captain of The Beloved Loss to justice for the King of France. He soon discovers that Marin St. Aubin is no easy target… but not until he finds himself locked aboard The Beloved Loss with the beautiful pirate princess.
Cori doesn’t believe Burke’s ridiculous claim of being a respectable man but Burke has no desire to convince her otherwise. The last thing he needs is another conniving woman trying to snare him. Risking their lives for freedom, Cori and Burke prepare for a hazardous escape together. The desperate prisoners are confident about defeating their enemies but the one thing they cannot overcome is their unwanted yet undeniable feelings for each other.

My Review

I received an ARC of A Pirate Princess in exchange for an honest review.

So where do I begin?? Let me start by saying I was beyond excited about getting my hands on this book. I fell in love with Brittany's other work: My Knightly Dreams & At Least I'm Pretty. SOOO of course when she said, " Hey, I'm going to be releasing a new book would you be willing to review?" I knew I just had to jump on it, because I mean who wouldn't?

Brittany does an amazing job writing. Her descriptions and characters are always so realistic. You can't help but fall in love with them, let alone feel like your there. I was instantly hooked from the beginning. I probably looked a little crazed by how I was attached to my Kindle flipping page after page. My husband even asked, "What are you reading that has you so hooked?" :)

" Let me tell you something, you stupid little coquette! You are going to marry Falco, and you better be worth something when you do. I do not like you sleeping in a rom overnight with that man."

I don't want to say too much more because I don't want to spoil ANYTHING, however I don't want to leave y'all hanging either. So I will just say a tiny bit. Corisanda ( I mean come on how awesome is that name?) is a prisoner on her own ship…well her daddy's ship that is. From the moment she was born her daddy seemed to hate her. She has tried to escape numerous times, however she always gets caught and brought back to the ship. Her father is Captain Marin St. Aubin. Cori is beyond used to her father's hatred, but nothing will prepare her for the quartermaster, Falco de Vries. He's a very malicious man, who she is bound to marry.

Burke Belcourt, the Count of Calais and sea trader, is being trapped by a dirty conniving woman who he is ordered to marry. She lied and by law Burke is suppose to marry her, in a way to delay this unwanted marriage on his part he agrees to bring the unlawful pirate (Marin St. Aubin) to justice for the King of France. Burke soon realizes that Marin is no easy target. You see Marin has a trap that always works….Cori. She is an extremely beautiful woman and men can't help but be drawn to her. Well Burke finds himself locked on The Beloved Loss with the beautiful pirate princess.

" Oh, you want to talk about fools? I would call you worse names than that, Captain."

Cori believes Burke to be another pirate, and he doesn't bother to convince her otherwise. He thinks she is some privileged pirate princess, until he witnesses first hand how she truly is treated. Together they come up with an escape plan, it's dangerous and they can only hope it works. One thing is for sure though, these two have undeniable feelings for each other.

Do Burke and Cori escape? Or do they end up having to marry the evil people they were suppose to? That's something you'll have to find out for yourself.

This story is unbelievable! No lie, No exaggeration. I literally couldn't turn the pages fast enough to figure out what happened next. The moment you think you have it all figured out, something else happens that has you scrabbling to discover the outcome. I can't say it enough how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE A Pirate Princess!!!!

If you haven't already, I highly highly recommend you #1click it. You won't regret it. I hope you fall in love with Burke and Cori as much as I did. They are truly some remarkable characters. I certainly hope Brittany plans on coming out with a sequel. **Crossing fingers**

So with all of that being said, I rate A Pirate Princess 5+ STARS! Only because for some reason I'm not allowed to rate it more then that. =)
