{Review} The Wedding Bet by Cupideros

Wedding caterer Megan has a problem. She accidentally caught her best friend Cynthia’s wedding bouquet and is now expected to be the next bride down the aisle.

There’s only one problem. She doesn’t want a husband.

Her two best friends, Cynthia and Olivia are no help, drawing her into a bet that she will be the next one to get married within a year’s time.

Follow Megan through her quest to make it through a year without falling in love and walking down the aisle.
Will she make it? Who is PR man? Is there something more to him than meets Megan’s eye or is he just another man? And what’s with the statue on PR Man’s desk?

Read “The Wedding Bet” and may you never trip on your way down that long walk!

This book is about a 27 year old name Megan who is a wedding caterer. She is around wedding all the time, however she doesn't want to get married. Right now that is. She wants to be independent and accomplish all her dreams before tying the not. At her best friend Cynthia's wedding she is dragged into the bouquet toss by her other best friend Olivia. While everyone else is focusing on the bouquet and getting in pounce mode Megan is slowly backing her way out of reach. She doesn't want to be any where near that bouquet. However fate must have another plan for her because the bouquet ended up landing in her hands anyway. She was one shocked cookie needless to say, as was everyone else. She tried handing the bouquet off to Olivia, but Cynthia was not having that bad luck on her marriage. So that's where the BET came into play: “If you cannot find me a suitable mate, in one year’s time, you’ll never ask when I’m going to be married again. And I’m excluded from any more wedding bouquet tosses.”

Megan of course wasn't going to have this. She wanted to win this bet and she was going to do so by hiring a PR firm. She wanted to make sure she was the most unsuitable woman. Cause what man wants to marry an unsuitable woman? This is where Mr. Handsome I mean Steve Laferte comes into her life. He's the oh so lucky PR man. Which is exactly what Megan calls him. PR Man. “Or in theater terms, I’ll be your leading man, minstrel, scene-stealer and prompter guiding your every step of the way in this artistic endeavor.”

Over the year Megan finds herself checking PR man out, but then shaking it off because it just can't happen. She hired him after all. Megan has to attend a Lover's Dance Hall to show Olivia and Cynthia she was trying. On her way inside she was chased by a white and black Knight on horses. So picture her running for her life with Knights on horses chasing her. HILARIOUS! She didn't stay long after that. PR Man put out a personal ad so Megan was stuck interviewing all the men that responded to her ad. Let me just say she wasn't cutting anybody slack. She even made a gay man be a MAN. Crazy stuff i'm telling you! Olivia has her do speed dating. Megan is quite the charmer HAHA. Megan and PR man go down to Hollywood because their is a movie in the works called "The Wedding Bet" based on none other than her bet. It got a lot of publicity when she went on the Brent Parks Show. However she didn't sign the movie deal because she didn't agree with the terms. “Is your Snatchoroozoo, Snatchoroozoo worth that much? That you’d turn down our generous offer. What have you got to lose, Meg? I just want to have a taste of that funny va-jasnack between your legs or rather my penis does.”

After all the drama that happened while in Hollywood Megan needed a truce from the bet. Can't blame her. Poor thing...Anyways her and her girlfriends end up at the strip club. Cause I mean what better way to relax than having a man shake his junk all in your face! HAHA. Quite a few laughs especially when one of the guys from Speed Dating was a stripper there. Who of course just had to give her a lap dance once he recognized her. ;)
"Olivia and Cynthia didn’t want to high-five they wanted to smell my hands. The hands that felt the full length, every vein and bulging package of the ten gallon stud—Texas Oil Drill."

It's one crazy year for Megan, but luckily through it all she has PR Man right by her side. Does she win the bet??? Hmmm that's something you'll have to find out on your own when you read the book. Heck share it with your girlfriends when your done.

My Thoughts

I love Megan. She cracks me up with her smart witty mouth. She's a woman that is independent and feels all women should be. No man should assume a woman wants to get married, stay home and clean, then pop out babies. She BAKES!!! I love me some goodies. :)

PR Man aka Steve. This man, I don't even know where to start. He's artistic, smart, sexy, a great listener, basically the perfect man. What's that? He's SINGLE. No way!!! Too bad he's not real LOL.

The other characters (Cynthia, Olivia, and Amy) are all great in their own ways.
I love how well they are each described so you get a great picture of who they are. Cynthia is Banana shaped HAHAHA. I still can't get over that one.

So I rate this book a 4 out of 5.

I recommend buying it. It's only 99 Pennies on Amazon! :) So snatch this baby up. GO GO GO GO GO!!!!
