{Review} Falling For You Part 1 by Danielle Taylor

Julia Burns can’t remember a day in her life when she didn’t have to work. So the ad in the paper sounds perfect to her – even if she does have to marry a complete stranger.

Nicholas Steele isn’t used to being around people since the accident that left him disfigured. Having a permanent house guest isn’t his idea of fun, however, the press would have a field day if they found he and his new wife weren’t residing together.

On paper, their ‘fake’ marriage fits both their needs, giving Nicholas a wife and Julia the security she's always dreamed of having. In reality, every moment Nicholas and Julia spend together brings them closer to falling for each other.

Falling for you opens with Julia Burns traveling to her new home, well new life really. She's super nervous wondering if this man she is to marry will even like her. In her sweaty hands she's holding this very intriguing small leather box. What's in the box?? Hmm I wonder. Once arriving she is in awe of this beautiful mansion that she is to share with her new husband. This is definitely a huge change of scenery for her. She looks around for this man Nicholas Steele who is to be her husband, however he isn't there to greet her. Charles, Mr. Steele's right hand man takes her on a tour of the house pointing out several rooms as they head to her very own. 

It's straight down to business since the wedding is the next afternoon. Julia has to meet with the tailor to get fitted for her wedding dress. Which by the way sounds exquisitely superb! Yes, that gorgeous HAHA! After her fitting is dinner, Julia hopes she'll be able to meet her soon to be husband. However Nicholas has other plans and doesn't show. *sigh* By this point your going COME ON who is this mystery man!!? Is he deliberately trying to be an ass? Julia says, " I guess I just thought he would want to meet me."  Where Charles tells her " I did warn that Mr. Steele is a very private man." After which goes over the schedule for the big day and then on to her final dress fitting :) EXCITING!

Feeling Restless Julia goes exploring and decides to check out the Library to see if she can find a book to help pass the time. The library was right across from her room (how convenient). In the library there was a dim light in the back and she could see the silhouette of a tall man. Could it be the elusive Mr. Steele?? She makes it seem as though she is perusing on a selection of books in front of her, but she's really studying the unknown man. While watching the material of his shirt stretch over his bicep (YUMMY) Julia is reminded of a memory of one of her foster fathers. She quickly runs from the library back to her room and runs a hot bath to try and forget about the haunting memories of her past. 

After waking up wondering where she was in the middle of the night she notices a door next to her bed. Mystery door? Curious as to what it could be. A closet maybe, she gets up and opens it only to find it's to a bedroom. From the moonlight she thought it could be the mystery man from the library. The man is tossing and turning and then Screams. So she runs to the bed and curls up beside him letting him know it would be okay. He wakes up and pretty much snaps on her and she runs out crying. EEEKKK 

Wedding day!!!!!! Mr. Steele is ready for this day to be over, he doesn't like all these people in his home and just wants to get back to work. Mr. Steele has these assumptions about his wife to be and isn't really giving her the time of day. As he's standing at the alter his back is to everyone. Julia walks down the isle and he doesn't even turn to look at her. DAMN harsh much! As they say their "I do's" they are looking at each other in the eyes (FINALLY!!!!) *sparks flying everywhere!* Comes down to the kiss and she's thinking he's going to do some small peck and ends up surprising her with one of the best kisses she has ever had. Of course though it is too good to be true because he gets all Mr. Serious again as they sign the license. Julia is curious as to why this handsome man had to arrange for a bride. That's when Mr. Steele says, "Didn't your mother tell you that it's rude to stare?"

UGH OH!!!!! Mr. Steele doesn't know about her past. Strange the man that chose her should know. That's when she finds out that he didn't pick her at all, rather Charles did. Talk about a punch in the face!!!!!! 

My Thoughts:

This is AMAZING!!!!!!!! So many emotions are running through me right now, I honestly don't know what to do or say. That has to say something. This book has left me speechless. So well written. I feel for the characters. Julia is this sweet 26 year old who just wants to be loved. She gets put into this extravagant life feeling alone and lost. Something horrible happened to her when she was younger. HORRIBLE :( She just wants this man she is to marry to show a little interest. However he doesn't. Which I know has to cut her deep. Poor thing. When she finds out he didn't choose her my heart breaks right along with hers. Then you have this mysterious man Nicholas Steele. Geez even that name is SEXY! At first i'm like okay now you can't seriously be that much of an ass on purpose. There has to be a better explanation. Then of course i'm given the explanation and my heart breaks for him. It explains everything. Then I just swoon for him and his muscles. RAWR! ;) 

I so want more of this story! I want to see them fall deeply in love and have some amazing sex, because I mean come on...Their chemistry is there. 

I highly recommend. I'm rating this a 5 out of 5!
