Adalind Carter finds herself in search of a new nursing assignment. She finally gets her wish when given an opportunity to travel to England for the private care of Evan Jacob Frederick, the Duke of Warlington, who is showing signs of awakening from a two month long coma. Upon accepting the position, it doesn’t take long for her to discover just how little she knows about any of it...
While caring for the Duke, she discovers that someone doesn't want her to see to the proper care of this man. In fact, there are no records, no nurses, and no help. If only that were the worst of it…
Lying quickly becomes part of her job description, but falling for him wasn’t. She knows something that could shatter his world, but telling him the truth could break his heart. Can she do as she is asked and keep this secret from him--one that she knows will be devastating? And can she provide the care he needs without giving into her desires? ...Only time will tell.

Review:
This book was all consuming! I swear, it was fantastic. From the very beginning I was hooked and wanting more. I couldn't flip the pages fast enough. It was so fast paced, but in a great way. The descriptions were perfect. The characters were perfect. The setting was perfect. Are you getting the pattern here? I thought this book was phenomenal.
Adalind is a nurse, who was sent on a assignment. An assignment that sends her to England to tend for the Duke of Warlington. It seems like an easy enough job. He's a patient that has been in a 2 month long coma. However, once she arrives she realizes things won't be as easy as expected. There are no medical records what so ever, and the nurses prior to her did nothing in regards to care. He's in bad shape. She works long and hard at making things better for Evan. But at what cost?
I absolutely love the characters. There are a few that I'm not fond of, but you'll understand that once you give it a read. But seriously, you can't help but fall in love with everyone. I can't tell you how much this book tore at my heartstrings. There are so many different plot twists, so it always keeps you glued. I want more of Evan and Adalind's story. Please, can I have more?? Lol.
So it should come as no surprise, I give Through the Fog 5 stars.
