Do you have any tips or advice for aspiring authors?

Believe in yourself and don’t let anyone discourage you from doing what you feel is right. When did you start writing?
I started writing June 26, 2013 How do you handle negative reviews on your book?
Vent to a good friend who is also an author. I learned very quickly that I can’t please everyone and that’s fine. As long as one person says they loved my story I am happy. What are you working on currently?
Touched By You (Book #2 Touch Series) Pierced Love (Stand Alone) Is there a genre you refuse to write?
Nope, not at all, I think at one point or another I will try a bit of everything.
Whats something most people don't know about you? Hmm, I am pretty much an open book so let me just share some things to keep everyone in the know….I love anything chocolate or peanut butter, my favorite colors are pink and green and I love Mexican food. What do you like to do for fun outside of writing?
Of course, I LOVE to read, spend time with my family and run….love to run, it releases so much stress. When writing there is always a chance of Writer's block. How do you overcome it?
I listen to music for inspiration or go for a run. Do you ever get frustrated with your work that you contemplate giving up?
No I will never give up. If I feel like something is going in the wrong direction I just get up and walk away. Then I come back with a clear mind and keep going. Did you ever think when you started writing you'd be where you are right now?
Oh, no way. I started this thinking it was awful. I have two writing BFFs that have been with me since I started. I would write and send them the chapters raw with no edits. They came back telling me they loved it and wanted more…so I kept going and now you have Touch Me. Do you ever hate a character you write about?

Not in Touch Me….but I do have a love /hate relationship with one character in Touched By You


Do you have any excerpts from your book (or WIPs) that you'd like to share with us?



1) Riley moves in closer to me and I just about jump to him throwing my arms around his neck and slamming my lips against his. God I want this man and I want him now. Fuck with the taking things slow shit, I want him to take me and make me his.

We hold our embrace and passionately kiss one another for what feels like forever. The way his arms hold me tight against his body, I can feel every muscle of his shuttering against my body. His soft lips are kissing me hard, then soft, and then harder with a fierceness that shows me he does not want to let me go.
He slowly pulls away from me and sets me back down on two feet. 


 2) He takes my face in his big palms and pulls me closer to him. He kisses me softly and I can start to feel the buildup of passion rocketing through our bodies. This man is falling in love with me and I can't help but fall for him too. Our feelings for one another are coming together so fast, but one thing is for sure, I am not scared to fall in love with Riley. Slowly we pull ourselves away from one another and I stare into his gorgeous hazel eyes. I can see he feels strongly for me and I can feel the tingling sensation radiate from his touch onto my own.

For six years  she worked in the field of higher education while earning her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Management from University of Phoenix. She has been married for the past ten years and is a mother to two children. She became an avid reader in spring of 2012 and since has read over 250 books. Her genre of interest ranges from Romance to thrilling Paranormal. This is more than just a hobby for her, it's a passion to read the words of great authors and bring life to their stories with her reviews and character castings. She started writing her first novel in June of 2013 and is anxious to see where this journey takes her!!
