My Review
Sex God is book 4 in the All- Stars series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Mia is a journalist for ChatBuzz, however her job isn't all she dreamed it would be. Instead of doing interviews with the famous, she's writing about top 10 this or that. So when the opportunity came up for her to interview Austin James who is trying to make it as a solo artist she can't turn it down, it could change her life for the better. Even though she still thinks about the kiss they shared 8 years ago. A kiss that ended as quick as it started because it was with her brother's best friend.
Austin is a rockstar. He's been in the spotlight for years, but now it's because his band broke up and here he is trying to make it as a solo artist. He's in the middle of making his new record. So when his manager tells him you need to do an interview to help promote your up and coming record, he knew immediately he'd chose Mia. His best friend's little sister who just so happened to work for ChatBuzz. This should be easy for him. Someone he's known for years interviewing him. However, it's not that easy.
Austin fights Mia at every turn. He's not opening up or giving her answers to her questions. He wants to produce music, but doesn't want the fame that comes with it. So can Mia get him to open up so she can get the story her boss is looking for? Or will their past get in the way...
Katie did a good job at introducing characters, giving some background, yet at the same time keeping it a fast paced read. There is a little bit of angst. Overall it's a good weekend read. I would give it 4 stars.
