I first would like to say that I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
HOLY SHIT!!!!!! OMG. I. WAS. BLOWN. AWAY!
This was one hell of a roller coaster ride. Phenomenally done.
Here you have Breanne who just returned to the working world, and they are sending her away. She has to leave her three children and it's tearing her up inside. When she gets to the airport for her flight she's informed that her flight had been cancelled and change for the new airline. Super high-tech plane. Nothing could go wrong right? Then you have Drew a pitcher and spokesperson for said airline. She ends up sitting next to him, and from the very beginning you can feel the chemistry.
It's action packed, there is angst, great chemistry, suspense, and sooooo much more. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time. I soaked it all up in one sitting. I couldn't put my kindle down.
Breanne is a strong lead, she's a widow who is still trying to put her life back together. You can't help but fall in love with her. HOWEVER, I won't lie I got pretty pissed at her towards the end of the book. When you read you'll know exactly why. ;)
As for Drew he is a strong male lead. His ego is quite large, but you can't blame him. He's use to getting what he wants. Women constantly throwing themselves at him. A womanizer of sorts. So when Breanne is thrown into his life, she's different. She isn't impressed and honestly doesn't really know who he is. Which is a nice change.
Anywho, with all of that being said I rate Curveball 5+ stars!!!!!
