Deciding that Leah was more important than his future, Nick gave up his chance to play at the college level. He chose to stay behind, and build the foundation for what he thought would be a solid future for him and Leah. Only Leah had other plans… she wanted to get out of Pittsford as fast as possible, and was willing to give up anything to do it, including Nick. When the Olympic scouts offered her a chance of a lifetime, she couldn’t tell them ‘no.’

We saw forgiveness in Shattered, desire in Restored, and unconditional love in Renewed. Now, see how it all started in Destined- Nick and Leah’s beginning.

{My Review}

I received an ARC of Destined in exchange for an honest review.

This is the start of Nick and Leah's story. If you started off this series by reading Shattered, Restored, and Renewed then if your like me this was a pleasant surprise. While reading the other 3 books I always wanted more of their teenage years. I wanted to get a little more into their heads. So this book did exactly that for me. We found out how it all began and all the little pieces in between.

I also came to find that Cam and Leah were actually best friends. I just assumed they were friends, but I had no clue they were best friends and really close. So that was nice to learn. I still wonder how it would of all turned out if Leah had turned down the offer and stayed. How different would their lives be? Heck, how different would of things been if Nick had taken his offer? Ugh, all these questions.

We get more of Avery. I was a little bummed to find that things between her and Logan started when they were teens. Makes me shake my head and feel a little sad for her. Especially when you learn about Cam. Ugh, I so badly wanted them to just come out with how they felt. I don't understand why it's so difficult, and then they wonder why things turned out the way they did. Why they are so miserable. Stop beating around the bush and just come out with how you feel.

There were several hard decisions that Nick and Leah both had to make. I love Nick personally, he's very mature for his age. Heck, he turned down a HUGE offer because he wanted to see where things would go with Leah. That's a very manly thing to do. Not to mention he works his butt off to make sure they will have a good future. Goes out and does something BIG. Yes, it would be pretty scary to be an 18 y/0 young lady and have your boyfriend spring something like that on you, BUT to me it would of been a huge gesture of Love, and one that I would of cherished.

Nick pulls out all the stops and does everything in his power to show Leah that he's a man and not like that rest. I was really mad at her that she left. I didn't realize their relationship was as powerful as it was.

Overall I'd give Destined 4.5 Stars.

I can't wait for Avery and Cam's story. Hurry up April I want to read Fated!!!
