BLOG TOUR: {FROM GODS} by Mary Ting + GIVEAWAY
Did you just see a flash of lightning across the sky on a clear sunny day? It’s not from Mother Nature. It is most likely from Mason Grand, swoon-worthy demigod, one of Zeus’s descendants.
Skylar Rome is supposed to be having the best summer ever before she heads off to college. Little did she know, her whole life was about to change while visiting her cousin. Implausibly, she gets caught up in a world of the decedents of ancient gods, all who have super powers. Not only is her discovery difficult to accept, evil beings are after her. Running out of time and running for her life, she must unravel a mystery. What do they want from her? Forced into a battle set into motion long before she was born, will she find the answers, or will she die trying?

I received a copy of "From Gods" in exchange for an honest review.
I just wanted to put this out there and say that I don't normally read this genre. I'm more of a romance & erotica type of girl. HOWEVER with that being said I FELL IN LOVE!!! I was completely hooked from the very beginning. There is no turning back for me now. I will definitely be reading the other books & Mary Ting has gotten a new fan girl. I will be reading the rest of her work.
There is a young lady named Skylar Rome who is headed to her cousins house when she's pulled over. Although the cop is strange. He doesn't tell her why he pulls her over, he just asks to see her ID and then to check her trunk. Strange much, but when it's a sexy cop I guess you don't question it much. When arriving at her cousins she finds that their fun summer is now going to be them working at her aunt's diner. Which is okay. Skylar is excited. Little did she know though that she would run into the cop again. Although the cop has a different name and acts like he doesn't know who she is. Weird right!? From that moment on her summer won't be the same. Strange things start happening. I mean it can't be real right? She has to be seeing thing!? NOPE! It's real. She finds out who she really is, and it's not at all what she expected. She doesn't even know what it means. All she knows is that she can't take chances and Mason can't get close to her.
Mason Grand is my new book boyfriend. He's a sexy demi-god with the power to use lightening. He's a descendant of Zeus, if that helps explain things better. From the moment he saw Skylar he knew she was different. There was something about her that he just couldn't shake. He had to make sure she was okay. Although Mason has put these HUGE walls up. He doesn't let anyone in. He has a job and he's going to do it. Nothing more, nothing less. Can Skylar break through his defenses or will she fail like everyone else?
I absolutely loved this read. It's well written, flows so well, and I just can't get enough. I want more, I need more. :) I highly recommend you #1click this bad boy. It's so worth it.
