SYNOPSIS:

Temper knows what she must do, even if it means being separated from Voss in order to save his life. Risking everything, she runs home to her moonshine-brewing anarchist daddy’s home in southwest Arkansas to collect a congregation of rebels to fight back. No one can be trusted, especially Temper’s devious ex-boyfriend who won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.
Can Temper reunite with her husband, keep her wayward family out of trouble, and restore the USA to the nation under God that it was intended to be — or will freedom as we know it be lost forever?

{MY REVIEW}
Phenomenal, Extraordinary, Amazing, Wonderful. Excellent, Powerful, Suspenseful, Realistic, Perfect. Those are just a few words to help describe The Rebels.
I’m not new to Brittany’s work, as a matter a fact I’ve read every book of hers. So I don’t even know why I was so surprised at how much I loved this. It’s truly remarkable. She knows exactly how to pull you in and not let you go. I was hooked from only 6% in. Yes, this isn’t one of those books that takes 35% to get exciting. From the very beginning she hooks you in. I love it! This is unlike any of her other books and in my opinion it’s her best work yet!
The plot is just a work of art. It’s an eye opener as well. This could very well happen some day. Makes you question what exactly you would do in this type of situation. I couldn’t help but smile at all the Bible verses. The Rebels gives you Hope. Hope that if this was to happen one day, we would WIN. We’d come together and take back our Country!
Now the Characters. Temper. Temper is strong willed, independent, stubborn, Fiesty, and so much more. You can’t help but to fall in love with her character and believe in what she’s doing. I highly doubt she knew how much of an impact she would make when she first started her journey. That’s the best part of all. :) The impact she had, and no matter how rough things got she was there to help motivate others.
Voss. Voss is Temper’s husband. I have to say when he stayed back at first I was a bit mad at him. I was like geez how could you just leave your wife? I know she can take care of herself, but that’s not that point. You should want to be there. I understood he wanted to defend his country as that’s what he signed up to do, but at the time he didn’t realize how crazy things were. So when his eyes got opened and he finally faught back, remarkable! I was jumping up and down clapping. YAY! So in the end he is a great guy.
Temper’s ex is super crazy. I can’t even begin to explain how much this man needs to get off his high horse and just realize that not everyone gets a second chance no matter the circumstances.
I am curious to know what happens with him though. You in a way left it open for more to the story. :D

Of course it's beautifully written. Brittany had a plan and she executes it perfectly. I have no complaints. I applaud you Brittany for yet another amazing read. You certainly have a gift. Thank you for sharing it with us all. I look forward to your next creations. I recommend this to everyone!
