SECOND I want MORE.
For this being Lynn's debut novel I'm blown away. I couldn't find anything that I hated about this, except a few hard situations of course, but they made for an amazing plot. Eeeeeepppp :)
Like most books I read, I started it at night when my kids were asleep. Here is where I went wrong. I should of started it during the day. I was up ALL night. It is definitely one that sucks you in from the very beginning and even when it's over it doesn't want to let you go. I'm beyond hooked and I want MORE!
Julia Sinclair is sixteen when she first moves to Sunset Bay, South Carolina. She lost her mother to cancer and is now living with her grams. It's honestly so sad, however I love Grams. She reminds me so much of my Grams. You can't help but smile and feel love when your around a woman like that. One night Julia was out visiting her mother's tombstone when trouble came in the form of two idiots. She ends up being rescued by Jaxson Reid. Lord have mercy! *fans self* From that night they became the best of friends.
Thing with Jaxson Reid…he's the tatted up bad boy that has had quite the rough childhood. He's also the kind of guy that doesn't feel he deserves anyone like Julia. Thing is Julia loves Jaxson, and Jaxson loves Julia…but they are both stubborn. LOL. Jaxson joins the Navy to become a Navy Seal. The night before he leaves Julia confesses her love.
Years go by and Jaxson finally comes home to make things right with Julia. However there is a guy in her life and to him Julia is his! Can Jaxson makes things right? Or did he ruin their relationship and lose the one girl in his life that he ever loved!?
I loved their relationship. Lynn does a phenomenal job at writing and pulling you in. She has found a new fan in me.
Now, Jaxson. Mmm Mmm Mmm. This man will have your panties melting off and your ovaries exploding. He's an alpha male and my new book boyfriend! Eeeeppp. ;) This man is one that i'll be thinking of for quite awhile.
There are some sensitive situations, but they are tastefully done. I will be wanting to add this paperback to my collection. <3
