Synopsis
Indigo is running, she has no other choice. She's done something bad, and there only way to escape it, is to flee her home, and her country. She sets out on a luxury Yacht, to take her to another country with her best friend Eric. But she runs into a problem. The Yacht catches fire. She ends up stranded in the ocean, terrified, and scared of the uncertain. Until they show up. The pirates. Terrified, Indigo and Eric have to face the reality that this might be the end for them. These are pirates, they are the criminals of the ocean. What chance have they got of surviving this nightmare? Then she lays eyes on Hendrix. He's the Captain, he's gorgeous, rugged, and mean. He's planning on keeping her to repay his debt to another man, by selling her. Now Indigo has a crazy ex after her, as well as a pirate she can't seem to get out of her head. Come on this heart wrenching, dark, angsty and dangerous adventure as two people so opposite, find something so beautiful.

I absolutely didn't expect to LOVE this book. I mean this is me being completely and utterly honest, I didn't expect to love a book about pirates. It's not my normal read, although I absolutely fell in love with this book. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Hell I was getting turned on by a damn pirate. *sigh*
Indigo escaped from her crazy ex-boyfriend who beat the crap out of her for two years until she finally shot him. He ended up in prison, but he was released and she left to try and start a new life. Although, I think fate had another choice for her. The yacht her and her best friend Eric were on caught fire and blew up. They were in a life boat for two days burnt to a crisp from the sun when they finally saw a ship. However it wasn't just any ship. It was a pirates ship, they tried to get away but the ship already saw them. They were captured. Indigo was told she would be sold. That didn't stop this little firecracker at all. She was set to do anything to get free, even if it meant seducing the captain.
I was literally turning the pages wondering what was going to happen to her next. Was she going to escape? Was she going to get sold and only God knows what would happen next? Will he set her free or hell maybe even fall in love with her? The questions were just pouring in and by the end of the book my jaw was on the floor and I was beyond shocked. I truly did really enjoy this book.
Indigo even though she has been through hell her entire life she is extremely strong and quite the firecracker. I love that about her. No matter how scary things got she was still standing her ground and not letting it slow her down. She found friends in people she never imagined she would. To be honest I think she even found a sliver of herself in those waters. It's suspenseful, there is angst, and some steamy scenes.
I will say this her best friend pissed me off in some incidents. I wanted to just kick him in the groin and laugh about it, but I will say the way Indigo handled the situations I wanted to just high five her.
So if asked would I recommend this book for others to read?? Hell yes I would! So if you haven't picked this book up because you were hesitant, take my word for it and take that plunge. I was beyond happy I did. It's a really great story. So GO GO GO #1click this bad boy.

“Stand up, this will be easier if you do,” he orders. He stands, taking me with him, and I lose my balance when I accidentally try to lift the wrong foot. Hendrix reaches out, taking my shoulder and goes to take a step forward to steady me, only to realize he’s wrapped the rope around his ankle, and is now tangled too. As if in slow motion, we topple backwards. I scream, and land with a thump on the ground as the ropes surround me. Hendrix lands over me, but manages to put his hand down to stop me taking the force of his body. He’s pressing into me in places he really shouldn’t be. “Fuck,” he curses, tugging his hand to try and untangle it. “How the hell did you get tangled too?” I cry out, squirming. “Stop fuckin’ squirming like that,” he orders, and I stop as soon as I realize why he’s asked me to. He’s hard. My God, he’s hard. “You’re…you’re…” “I’m fuckin’ hard because you’re squirming against me. I’m a man. Get over it.”

Bella Jewel is an Aussie girl through and through. She spent her life in Western Australia, growing up in many different areas of the state. She now currently lives in Perth with her husband, children and mass amounts of pets. She's crazy, fun, outgoing and friendly. Writing is her passion, she started at the young age of 18 but finally got the courage up to publish, and her first novel Hell's Knights was released in August 2013.
